Liam Stevens
Liam Stevens is an image maker and designer based in London. He favours simple materials enabling him to craft his work through expressive lines or graphic shapes and is particularly fond of his Pentel 0.7mm mechanical pencil, coloured paper stash and scalpel.
Liam co formed MakeMakeStudio with Chris Tozer as an outlet to motion experimentation and animation.
MakeMake's first music video for My Robot Friend was shortlisted in the Fest Anca International Animation Festival for best animated music video 2011 and has also been featured in the Gestalten publication Papercraft 2.
His work has featured in blogs such as It’s Nice That, Booooom, Creative Review Blog, Design Work Life, Form Fifty Five, Fubiz and I like this blog, along with an interview for Computer Arts Magazine for an online article on commissioning, managing a brief and working with clients.
Liam also has work held in the Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Art’s permanent collection in Japan.
Clients include; Anya Hindmarch, New Statesman, The Ride Journal, Eye Spy Gallery, Booklet Tokyo, Conde Nast, The Bookery Cook, The Rug Company, Little Otsu, My Robot Friend and more.
