Klim Type Specimen No. 4

We had often discussed with Kris doing a type specimen on newsprint. His previous specimens were small booklets so we thought this was a good opportunity to print on a larger scale. We agreed the talk 'A Search for Tradition' Douglas Lilburn gave in 1946 was a good fit with how we think of New Zealand design. Lilburn talks about how we have no musical tradition as we are a young remote country. Like magpies we take the good things we get to experience from larger creative eco systems.
